Ohhhh so close Levi's. I wanted these to work so badly. I have a pair of old 513's that are quickly becoming threadbare and have been my favorite jeans for years. I have to echo what other reviewers have stated in general-- I miss the *old Levi's*, that were made of very sturdy thicker denim, and that 513 fit-- regular, old school JEANS. These were *okay*, but i'm unwilling to pay this much (regular retail) for "okay". The soft feel with a bit of stretch was nice. Had the fabric been a bit thicker, and the fit a bit better, less apt to scooch down and bag-out, I may have kept. I liked that these seemed long enough, for once, although I never washed to check that out post-wash. I've noticed your lengths usually are odd for me as well; Long too long, and regular too short, and I'm 5'6"-- pretty average height, and I've not encountered this issue with other brands. Returned. Awaiting refund.

I dread jean shopping. I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit, look good, and do not look like mom jeans. I tried a pair of 518's and fell in love. They hug my curves and sit just right so I dont have muffin top. Still a little long even though they are size short but I think that is a problem I will never solve. I loved them so much I went back for another pair. Exact same size and color. Now tell me how they could be too tight? They are the same darn jeans. Why would they not fit the same. Very frustrating.

These jeans were too long even though I used the on-site sizing chart. I also felt they were not fitted enough in the hip and thigh area. At least, not as fitted as they appeared in the online photos. They were also much more low rise then the impression I got from the online description. (Not a fan of very low rise.) However, I was very pleased with the amount of stretch in the material.
Overall, I wish I had saved my packing information and not worn the jeans so I could return them for something different.
Regarding shipping times and my online shopping experience, I was very pleased and hope to find a pair of Levis that fit perfectly and that I can order online over and over again.

I just do not like the thinner fabric jeans and do not care for whatever they put in so they stretch. They are so baggie after wearing an hour. Levi's has been the only jeans I have worn for over 30 years because I loved them and they come in longs, now those are getting harder to find. They are just not the jeans they use to be by any means, then when I find a fit I like, they discountue it. They are cheaply made anymore and usually one leg is longer than the other. And hard to find a pair with the originial logo.

Very comfortable, but they definitely run a size or possibly two too big. I'm a size 12/13L with most Levi's jeans. I don't know if it's the style or the material, but the size 13 is huge! And they stretch even more during the day. I already took the tags off, so couldn't return anymore. Luckily they are extremely comfortable and work fine with a belt. They're nice looking jeans, just wish I had bought a size smaller.

i use to wear levi's 545 but since they discontinued them i was told that these were the closest. well they are. i love them. the fit is great the material excellent. i will be buying more pairs of these. i got them in the railer, which is a little darker then the picture. these are definitely a timeless pair to have in your closet. a classic cut and fit they will have tremendous staying power!!!!

These jeans are the best. I wear them all the time to school, to hang with friends or family. They fit perfectly and look really nice, I've had my pair for a few years, they have held out this long, I plan to buy many more pairs in the future.

I have been wearing this style for about five years, and have purchased at least 10 pairs (I live on a large horse farm and they are part of my everyday uniform.) They wear well, they look great and they feel fabulous. The only slight glitch is that once in a while I will order a pair that arrives a little shorter than I like (I am nearly 6 feet tall and need at least a 34 inseam.) Those end up being the pairs that I tuck into my boots. Aside from this occasional inconsistency, 518s are the perfect jeans and if they are ever discontinued it would rock my world (in a really bad way!)

This is my third pair of 518s, all alive and well, worn every day, everywhere. I bought this third pair because the color of jeans in the picture looked new to me. Railer color is actually darker than it is in the picture, so I ended up buying the same color I already had. I kept them anyway because they fit perfectly. They are tight after washing, but they loosen up after 30min of wearing. The fabric is very soft, slightly stretchy. Very low waist, even if you have a belly, the jeans won't make it look ugly, but they won't cover it either.

the fabric is a bit thin, so they would be better to wear in the summer. other than that, nice cut and very comfortable. Good for every day and look good with a nice top too.

I'm almost 50 and have had difficulty all my life finding good fitting, comfortable pants that look good too. I buy these over and over. Middle schoolers and middle agers can wear these and both look age appropriate. Yesterday I almost passed out going to all my regular stores looking for these pants. I'm a size 4/5 but can't wear skinny jeans. I was afraid that these were being discontinued. Please do not discontinue these!

I love these jeans. They seem to run big and they do stretch as you wear them. I had to get one size smaller and am actually wondering if I should have gone two sizes smaller because of that. Other than that, I love them and wear them ALL the time!!

These jeans are a reliable pair that I can wear anytime of the day. I would have like to see a little more "fading" on the jean. The pair I have is a little dark all over with only some distress. I bought the Railer color.
They have stretch but they don't stretch out. I have worn them several days in a row and they are still not stretched out.
I am 5'3". I bought size 4, small.

fit well. I haven't washed them a bunch yet so I don't know how they'd hold up but so far they fit well and are very comfortable. I am on the petite side though at 5'2" and 109 lbs. I bought a 3 short and they fit perfect

I PURCHASED THESE SAME JEANS A FEW MONTHS AGO AT KOHL'S BUT I HAVE PROBLEMS FINDING 5 LONGS SO ORDERED THE SAME EXACT STYLE # OFF LEVI WEBSITE THESE ARE NOT THE SAME JEANS THAT I BOUGHT. THE MATERIAL IS A LOT THINNER AND ALMOST LIKE STRETCH PANTS. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THESE JEANS. THE SERVICE I GOT FROM LEVI'S WAS GREAT -- SHIPPED AND RECEIVED WHEN I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET THEM. I WOULD ORDER THEM AGAIN IF THEY WERE THE SAME AS WHAT I HAD PREVIOUSLY GOT FROM KOHL'S!

I have had several pairs of these jeans - they are my everyday, go to jeans. These fit a little different than in years past, I think they have more lyca/stretch in them, but nonetheless, they fit great. They are low waisted but not too low and just all around comfortable. I am 5'4" 123 lbs and ordered the 7 which is a perfect fit.

I was looking for a classic slim fit and this cut is not it. If you need something roomier in the hips, these pants might be for you. I would return them if I hadn't already removed the tags. They are definitely a bigger cut for the size.

I LOVE love love my levi jeans. they feel great, are so comfortable, always look good. The ONLY problem that I have is they stretch way too much throughout the day. I understand they stretch to fit everyone's body in their unique way, but mine stretch so much I end up pulling them up throughout the day if I don't remember to wear a belt.

Length was good,fit is good- a little loose around waist- have to wear a belt...not like the first 518 Levi's but I am happy with them!
