Got these about two weeks ago and have worn them nearly every day since. They are just the perfect amount of tight for me where they are not tight against my skin but not baggy enough to at any given point venture more than an inch and a half from my legs. They are noticeably stretchy when I bend my knees and such without feeling like I am wearing spandex. If they had them in a wide wale corduroy it would make my day. But I am more than happy with black denim.

These pants are great as a pair of basic black jeans for a staple in your wardrobe. HOWEVER, they fit a little awkwardly on a skinny guy like me. They are slim, but they don't taper at all; therefore, the calf area is awfully baggy. Don't get me wrong: These are a pretty good pair of pants, but they don't have much of a fit.

These are just perfect! I'm 6'0 and 144 lbs and the 30x32 are just perfect, might could have gone with 29x32. I'm normally a 513 guy, but I think I found my comfort zone with 511.
Levi's should make every 511 jean like the Black Stretch. These are just fantastic and comfortable. I feel like I can do karate in these. Buy these now!!

I really can't say enough about these jeans, they have become a personal uniform. The fabric is so soft and comfortable, I have 3 pairs on my closet.

A pair of black Levi's is essential. Every man should have a pair in his dresser. Of course, you can't go wrong with an original 501 or 505, and my black 505s have served me well.
But these... just... wow. The fit is amazing. I feel that the new "slim" 511s (as opposed to "skinny" before) are a more inclusive fit that can accommodate more body types. Add to that the stretch denim, and you get a sleek, fitted jean that is perfect for almost any situation, whether it's casual Friday, happy hour, or date night.

Thought they were faded color jeans. Not pitch black pants that resemble nothing on jeans. I haven't even worn them yet but I tried then on when I first got them and they felt somewhat tight. Then I try them on again recently and they feel and look a bit baggy. Though the size is true to size.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The jeans we received were of good quality as we have found most levi products to be. Our only complaint is that we cannot find the 511's in a 30x34 size. We had to go up to a 31 waist. Surely there must be other tall skinny teenage boys around? We have to go to another brand to get a 30x34, they weren't even available in the catalog. The kids only want levis!

These were a bit too snug for my taste right out of the box, tighter all around than the 513s, but they break in perfectly! They loosened up a bit in the thighs and held their slim shape all the way to the ankle. The stretch is wonderful; and is perfect for a daily bike commuter. I wish they made these in a chino or lighter color with the stretch. Perfect jean for the active, mobile person. I prefer these to my 100% cotton 513 slims.

These pants look great and are made very well. They are a little too tight around the whole leg, they fit me like skinny jeans, not slim. I have worn them 2x already and it gets a bit better, but still too tight around my thick thights. Which are semi muscular with fat. I am considered overweight and 36in fit fine aournd the waist and length 30in fit fine too, just tight on the leg.

At 6-4 with skinny legs and not much in the back the 511 is probably the first pair of jeans I've ever worn that truly fit.- not overly tight with their slim cut,and stretch means instant comfort with no breaking in. My girlfriend with great empathy and and an former menswear designer,bought two pairs in black. I will never wear another brand again.

I am 76 years old and I own all sorts of jeans. None of them were satisfactory. So I bought a couple of pairs of Levi's 501 original fit; buttons and all; like I wore back in the fifties.

Picked these up almost a year after they were recommended to me, should've jumped sooner. Love the stretch, super comfy, cut is great (I wear 511s), but the stretch is actually 'too' stretchy in the waist (I wear 31"x32", should've gotten 30" or 29"). Not as good as the commuter IMO, which wear better and fit true to size. Just be sure to try these on and consider sizing down. I've shrunk them and they fit much better now, but still feel a 1/2" too big in the waist.

The fit is mediocre. I was expecting a better fit, look, etc but once I tried them on it was all wrong. I like some of Levi's other stretch fabric and 511s but this fabric feels thick and chunky. The styling looks completely different from the pics online. I tried to like them but no go...I will be returning these.
