I love the fit of these. They remind me of how the 501 used to fit and how it still should fit. I didn't notice a lower waist and they're basically just a slimmer 501, so they're great for slim guys who want the 501 look. The waist size is the same as it is for the 501, if not slightly larger, but everything else is just a little more narrow, all the way down to the bottom hems. I hate the larger leg of the 514, but the 513 is great.
I also love the 508, which is similar, but the 508 has more slouch in the seat, a slightly larger waist and is more tapered in the lower leg. These 2 models are the best fitting Levi's I've owned in a long, long time.
I never thought I'd like stretch jeans, but not only do these fit great (something I never expected from stretch jeans), but they're also really comfortable. They'll be great for warmer weather, although I prefer something more heavy and rugged for Winter, so they'll probably get packed away when that time comes.
Overall, I really like them a lot and just wish they were not so difficult to find from local retailers. I've literally been looking for these locally since they came out, and eventually just bought a pair online to try them out, but I prefer trying on jeans before purchasing them.
I recommend this product!

Wow. A comfortable slim fit for a large framed man, a price you cannot beat, and a color, quality of material and cut that can pass for "non" jeans and can be worn to work (discreetly) with a shirt, tie, jacket. They feel like second skin, but in an entirely acceptable way. My only caveat, but not a deal breaker: although the label says 30 inches in length, these are definitely at least a "32" if not longer, while the 511 rigid gray jeans I bought with a "30" length are probably more in the neighborhood of "28" or "29". Those couple of inches make a difference when you're trying to hit your shoes without walking on the backs of the jeans, and you don't want to, or for work purposes cannot, roll them up, and God knows, I don't want to have my Levis tailored! Regardless, thank you for a fantastic product at a fantastic price.
