They have changed the cut. The legs are much tighter now--too tight if you ask me. I had to size up and now the waist is too big.
I recommend this product!

I still love the cut of jeans and have not found any style that fits me as well. The Sapphire style fabric has a higher cotton content and no polyester ,so I find its quite a bit cooler and comfortable in to summer weather in contrast the Cactus or the Overcast versions which have 20% polyester fibers.

I agree with JaneK that the fit over the years of this model has been changed.
What I like about the changes are
1) the upper thigh norw fits more closely all the way to the knee
2) the Cactus material doesn't bag out after several wearings like old material
What I don't like
1) the cut seems wider and more flared , less of a boot cut than before which I don't find as elegant
2) the fabrics available now are all distressed or faded making them a lot more casual and less appropiate to wear to work
I'd suggest that Levi's market a true dark blue or black denim, with no distressed areas or bleacing in this jean once a while. I woudl certainly buy if that was available.
