I have worn 501's for over sixty years. Over the years a lot of products change. In years past there was only the shrink-to-fit now you can buy 501's that don't shrink. That is handy. I like the button fly instead of the zipper. The way the jeans sit on my waist and the straight legs. What can I say I've had sixty years to get used to them.

Been hooked since 1985. Wish more sizes were available in the stores, but at least I can find mine online. Had problems with the website but the rep on the phone was super friendly and helpful. Took a long time for the jeans to arrive, but for free shipping, who cares? All in all, I am relieved to find my 501's and am so happy they're with me now!!!

You've managed to make a 33 - 36 a 34 - 36. For decades I've been able to walk in a store and walk out with jeans that fit like a glove...not anymore. Can't even find them my size in a store. Had to order on-line and realize you've changed what 33 is. Have you stoppped making 33 waist (just printing it on the label to make me feel like it's my size?). I sent back my first order and re-ordered just to find the same problem in a different fabric. Need to wear a belt just to keep them up. You should never wear a belt with 501s. Not a happy camper. Currently checking out other brands to see if it's me our you that's the problem.

I've worn nothing but Levi original 501s for years. Never had a problem finding my size and now they got rid of the 35" waist/36" inseam.There are normal guys who wear longer then a 34" length. I don't want the shrink to fits, I prefer the originals. I guess its time to switch since the competitors still offer a 35" waist and 36" inseam. What a waste!!!

The pants came sealed in a clear plastic package. When I opened the package I was overwhelmed by the stench of tobacco smoke. The pants reeked of smoke. I had to immediately seal the pants in a plastic trash bag until they could be laundered. I could not try the pants on for fit until they were cleaned. After laundering, the smell was gone, but I was very dissatisfied with the fit of the pants. The crotch rise was so shallow that the top third of my butt stuck out when I sat down. These pants must have been cut for a teenage boy who wears them around his hips. I will not purchase this product again. The fit of these pants is nothing like the Levi's I have worn for years.

The jeans are great but start to fray in the thighs after 2 years. For the money I expect any LEVIS to last 3 to 4 years. I love my jeans so I just wear them until they fall off my A.....

Like most people I tried other jeans over the years and forgot how good the Original 501's really were. They fit, look and feel great. I can tell they are made to last also. I will always buy these in the future from now on.

I have noticed a lot of people who say the newer Levi's don't compare to the ones made decades ago. I haven't been around long enough to know what they were like in the 50s or 60s...I am 34 years old...but I can tell you that I have compared their denim to other jean companies on the market today. There are stores that will ask over $100 for a pair (ONE pair...over $100) of jeans and they are not made to hold up very long. I have owned a few pairs of these expensive and overpriced jeans and they didn't last as long as the price tag would lead you to believe. The denim isn't as durable and neither is the stitching. For about half the price Levi's are a FAR better value and they tend to run pretty true to size. I am even a big guy. I take a size 42 in my jeans and they still fit me perfectly...and even better after they get broken in. I have tried jeans from some of those stores you find in the shopping malls if I can even find my size. You know which ones I mean so there's no need to mention them. They usually only sell clothes for skinny people so it's pretty rare I can even find something that fits me anyway. And when I did find my size they didn't last nearly as long as I thought they should. Levi's are what jeans should be. They are affordable and made to take a beating. The more abuse they take the more character they get and the more comfortable they become. Maybe the weight of the denim has changed over the years, but they still make one of the best jeans you can get...especially if you compare them to the overpriced stuff at your local shopping mall.
