Another reviewer was right about the sleeves being long and the jacket zipping on the left side, but I have long arms and the zipper doesn't bother me much, so those aren't big problems for me. My bigger problems are probably more related to current trends. Come to think of it, the long sleeves are also likely related to current trends, also.
I first want to comment that I wish it was heavier, although the current trend seems to be to make these lightweight. I still own my father's M65 military jacket from his days in the Marine Corps and it's much heavier and more rugged. Even though Levi's says it has a "regular fit", it's actually quite slim, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're a big guy. I wish it were just a little larger and longer, but I'm a slender guy and it's not bad.
Considering the small size, there's not much need for the draw cord at the waist, but it's probably standard for M65 jackets (the entire jacket is quite standard, actually, so kudos to Levi's for that.) Unfortunately, the draw cord is so short that it's difficult to use and Levi's chose to use something similar to a shoestring, rather then the thick and heavy draw cord they should have used. I'll probably try to replace it with something else, if it's not sewn in there, because I don't know what Levi's was thinking. The draw cord was one of the reasons I purchased the jacket, so I find it really disappointing.
Although it's not standard for these jackets to have side hand pockets, I wish Levi's had added that feature in addition to the flap pockets, so there was somewhere more comfortable to place your cold hands. Like the sleeves, the hood follows current trends and is too long in the front, so it falls down well over your eyes, which I don't like at all. The hood does, however, appear to have some water repellent material on it (nylon maybe), so it's not completely just for show.
Finally, the beetle color is probably accurate, although it looks lighter/shinier in the pictures. In reality, it's darker and more true to the color of a M65 military jacket, which I prefer. Overall, it's a nice jacket and I'm glad that I purchased it. While I find plenty of room for improvement, I still think that Levi's did very well here.
I recommend this product!

A very nice-looking, well-made jacket that I hate to have to return. The Beetle is a great color and the material is 100% cotton (very hard to find in a world of man-made synthetics) so it breathes rather than causes you to sweat. But a couple of fatal flaws are that it zips up on the left and even though I have long arms the sleeves are still way too long. In retrospect, the sleeves even look bunched up/too long on the model at levis.com. Also would have liked a lie-flat collar rather than the stand-up collar but that's just a quibble.
