Painted Rubber Sole is Wearing Off

I like the upper, it looks sharp, but I was disappointed to find out the sole is rubber, only painted to look like wood/leather on the sides. The paint has started to rub off and my soles are starting to look really bad. I wonder how much longer I can wear these shoes before the paint is chipped away so badly that I'll be too embarrassed to wear them? Maybe three more weeks, five total. I'm gonna have to find a shop here in LA that can put on a proper heel and sole. I would return these in a heartbeat if I could. I love Levi's; almost all of my clothes are theirs, so I was disappointed by this cheap feature.

No, I do not recommend this product.
