It's 100% lamb wool but I think is not a fine wool.

I had been eyeing this sweater for a few weeks in the store and decided that if I didn't pull the trigger I'd regret it and boy was I right! Warm and nice finish to the 100% wool with a snug crew neck that isn't strangling you or awkwardly loose, just right. Received 4 compliments from friends and strangers the first afternoon I wore it. Highly recommend.

The only negative thing about this shirt is that it is really itchy, as many wool shirts are. Some people aren't sensitive about that, and then I can't imagine there being any problems, because with the exception of the itch, it looks really good on!

Zero worries with this sweater. Great color, easy look. Throw it on over a t shirt or dress it up with a collared button-down underneath. Fit is spot on running a little on the slim side - no bagging or bunching. Good quality sweater, sure to keep me warm for years to come. Very happy with my purchase.
