505™ Regular Fit Jeans - Raw Chipped
Originally designed for cowboys, miners, and farmers, the first jeans were only available as shrink-to-fit and took months to break in. Then the '60s came and jeans became casual everyday wear. We introduced the 505™ regular fit—our first pre-shrunk jean with a zipper. Today it remains a solid classic that's low maintenance, well-made, and simply good looking.

I've been wearing Levis for more than 30 years and this is the first pair that I've ever had problems with - it must be the particular fabric. I never got to wear the first pair of these that I ordered because they shrunk from a 32" inseam to less than a 30" inseam. Levi's online was gracious and accomodating and exchanged the shrunken pair for a new pair. A Worker at the Levi store recommended to never wash jeans, but I prefer to have clean fabric. With the new pair, I wash them inside out in cold water, stretch them right after washing and hang dry to keep the length. But even then, they are about 31" inseam now. 3 of 5 stars

Nice dark coloring. A bit worried with 8% shrinkage mentioned on tag. Will wash in cold and line dry a few times to prevent this.

These Jeans Are Worn By Me At The Office. I Needed A Comfortable And Practical Pair Of Jeans For The Long Hours At Work And These Jeans Were Chosen. They Are Strong Because They Take All The Wear And Tear I Put Them Through During The Day. They're Comfortable Because I Never Feel The Need To Tug Or Straighten Out The Jeans When I Have To Move Into A Physically Uncomfortable Position.

I purchased these on Black Friday. I have several pair and have always washed in cold and dried few minutes on medium then hung to finish drying. I did the same here and lost 2+ inches in the waist and 2 inches in length. They don't lie when they say they shrink. I hope I can salvage them, but to do so will require a lot of pain to wear them!
No, I do not recommend this product.
