I have been a Levi guy for 40 plus years and strayed away in recent years when I found more inexpensive jeans to try. Only Levi's have the sturdy material feel that makes you feel like you are good to go for whatever the day and night brings your way.

The 501s fit like they did 25 years ago. I love consistency. The color will carry you from casual Friday to a night out. I wear these in place of chinos.

I have been looking for a real pair of denim kaki blue jeans and had thought surely 501s would be it, not so. They are not kaki blue jeans, but sort of like khakis that one might wear to the office.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The issue I have is what you photographed looks like the new fabric you have in your stores. I nice weight cotton in 5 colors, khaki being one of them. The product you shipped is a much darker, heavier weight cotton and does not represent the photo. Now I need to return it and am disappointed.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase these due to some reviews of varying color but I got exactly what I was hoping for (It is darker than the pic, but looks great). The fit was slightly tighter in the waist than I had expected but I have worn them several times and the fit now feels perfect. The length was great and I love the straight fit. Overall a great purchase and I am thinking of getting more!

My husband always bought the cheap jeans at the big discount store and each pair lasted a very short time. I finally talked him into getting Levi's jeans and they last and last. With the work that he does he is very hard on his jeans. Levi's cost a lot more but they are the best quality.

I'm something of a khakis connoisseur, and these are my new favorite. They're rugged, rough, and straight-legged, so they add a masculine, I'm-about-to-go-rough-it-in-the-wilderness look to whatever you're wearing. Whenever I get tired of the metro, skinny jean look, I just slip on this pair and forget about it. The color is darker than the photo (as usual with bright photography lights), but not in a bad way.

My son only wants to wear 501. Can't find all colors at any of my local stores. They have a great fit! Levi.com actually has better prices then my local stores also.

Hi! I love the fit of these jeans. The weight of the fabric is what you'd expect of 501's historically,
There IS an issue with the color representations however. Instead of the beige/sand/tan/light brown color shown (and thus, expected) it is all that AND green! It's NOT something I probably would've purchased knowingly, but since I live a dangerous life on the very razor's edge of haute couture, I spared the return postage because they pleased me. They actually gave me more room to wear more colors with the jeans and therefore expanded their value (to me) exponentially. With the darker "overtone", it even make wearing them in the evening more acceptable.
Don't knock the color until you've seen it with your own eyes. The fit is perfect, the color will guarantee pleasant conversation.

Only reason to give this 1 star is that color on website does not match actual pants. The picture for 501 Timberwolf is the same as 501 Shrink to Fit Sand. Timberwolf color is not Sand, but a much greener shade. Make sure to check in store before ordering from website.

Love the color and I love 501jeans but I can't get these pants to shrink. I thought they were ok but when I wore them they stretched right back out. I'll have to return the second pair and get my regular size. Then, they'll probably shrink. But 501s are still the best jeans.
