520™ Extreme Taper Side Seam Jeans - Rigid Coated
This modern taper pairs the slouchy fit of our 520™ Taper Jean with military- and workwear-inspired details. Oversized patch pockets at the front hide a coin patch pocket and include vertical button entry, and additionally wrap around the back to oversized back patch pockets. Designed to be worn low and slouchy on the hips, it's skinny on down the leg and tapers to a super skinny leg opening.

I love the way these pants look and fit. They are just like the picture. However, the length was a little shorter than expected. I ordered the 32x32 and it fit like a 32x31 or 32x30. Also I wish Levi's would stop using the black real/fake (it's too hard to tell) leather patches on their pants. I don't wear leather, but I love Levi's pants, and that annoying tag has kept me from buying some really great looking pants. I didn't even notice it on these until they arrived. Otherwise, I love the pants themselves.
I recommend this product!

These come with a tag that warns you about possible shrinkage if you wash them, and I'm not looking forward to doing so; my feet barely fit through the leg-openings as it is. But once they're fully on, these pants are reeeaallllyyy comfortable. The fabric is thicker than that of other Levi's jeans I own, and quite rigid indeed. They have a very flattering profile, they're perfectly shaped for the anatomy of a slim person with larger-than-average thigh muscles, and surprisingly, these don't constrict my calves at all.
The pockets are also nice, if a bit oddly shaped. The coin pocket is a perfect fit for an iPhone, which means I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched in the main pocket. There's also a weird little break on each side that creates two long mini-pockets, perfectly shaped for my pocket knife clip. The texture of the jeans is nice, but not quite as resinous and shiny as I'd like; although that probably has something to do with necessary flexibility.
These are currently my new favorite jeans and they'll be replacing my 591s for the coming year. My only two caveats are: it's a bit tough to get your feet through the holes, and because of how they're shaped, they're not suitable for leg lifts.
