I am 20 pounds overweight and have some difficulty finding good fitting quality jeans. The 505 straights have a wonderful fit and are slenderizing. The legs are not oversized as with other makers jeans. I especially like their old style ruggedness. The pockets hold up and there is not fraying or discoloring of the fabric. The dye used by Levis does not wash out and the jeans stay looking fresh and not prematurely worn out. I really like them!

This pair of jeans is my exact expectation of what the "straight fit" should be.
They are not tight. They fit loosely over the legs but perfectly so. Not too loose and not too tight. The pants don't restrict movement at all.
The waist size is true. I had no problems with the waist size on these pants.
And the style is simple and enjoyable. A really great pair of jeans I hope to have for a while.

One note: I hear some calls for a lighter stonewash that used to exist. I agree, there could be another lighter blue jean and I would have bought that. But considering that this pair of pants is probably the lightest of the blue dyed jeans from Levi's, I am satisfied with the color.

My husband will only wear these jeans and they are hard to find in stores in his size and 6-8 pair at a time. I was thrilled to find them here online. Easy process and loved the price. Great value.

These jeans fit well and feel good on me. I think the 30" length is actuallly 32 because they bunch up over my shoes and a 30 should not do that. Otherwise they are great jeans. I really like Levi's jeans. Now if they would only make the bellbottom style that I wore in the 70's they would be even better jeans!

I got 3 jeans of same model and same size. The other 2 are appropriate size and fit correct for me. But this piece seems to be oversize (1-2 inches) (both waist and seam). Dont understand why Levis not consistent with its sizes.
No, I do not recommend this product.

switched from 517 style because I didn't like the wide bottoms (even with boots I used to have the 517 bottoms narrowed). 505's sit just slightly lower on the waist, which I like, plus if you buy one waist size smaller than you wear in a slim fit jean the straight cut 505's fit great.....and oddly even the waist fits well. 505's also have a much wider color selection than 517's which are available in only 2-3 colors.

Levis are the only jeans I ever buy. They fit me perfect and last many years. I've always bought 501's or 505's.

Not only is the fit of these jeans uncomfortable, but the material is different than that of the jeans I have purchased over a quarter of a century. The last good ones I bought from Macy's were made in Haiti and all wore well. Unless the company returns to makingthe old jeans, I will have to find a different manufacturer.

I have worn Levi's since high school, first the men's then women's. I am now back to the men's styles, as they are the only ones not containing spandex. I was disappointed with this pair, however, because the construction was shoddy. The left leg is cut on the bias and twists so the side seam runs down the front. Upon further examination, I found that this particular pair was made in Nicaraugua. My other pairs were made in Mexico. Interesting thing to look out for.
