These look very trim but fit slightly more loose than some other jean styles. The ankle open easily accommodates cowboy boots. I really like the feel and fit these jeans give and enjoy wearing them. The 527 is great style from Levi's.

Love these jeans. i'd gotten away from Levi's because of the whole "dad" jean thing but these give me the fit I love in a style that's up to date.

Good jeans, but of the four pairs I bought, one pair is a vastly different size from the other two and doesn't fit quite well. Try them all on before committing to using them.

I am a woman with a not so curvy lower half and have been wearing 527's for years but cannot wear heels with them. NOW I CAN! I love mens jeans because they do not stretch out like womens jeans. So now I have jeans that are my FAVORITES! Long enough, tight enough and a nice dark blue. I have already had compliments from my friends. Thank you so much for adding more sizes and lengths!

I used to wear another brand of jeans until they stopped making the style I liked. I was told to try out a pair of Levi's so I did. I gave half of my jeans away and use the rest for work. My Levi's are the jeans I wear when out on the town, going to class, and going on interviews.

I have been wearing this jean consistently for the past 8 years. I attempted to purchase a pair at the local Levi's store and I was told that since skinny jeans are "in" that these jeans were not being delivered to stores with regularity. Due to this, I ordered online. I have always worn the same size with these so I felt comfortable ordering them online. I will never do this again. The pair I ordered online is roughly 1.5" longer in both the leg and crotch. I am truly disappointed in the changes made to the sizing as well as the stitching and zipper. Unfortunately it looks as though I need to find a new pair of reliable jeans.

I bought this coz i like my old 527- not big mistake but not the same- this new one bought with the same waist and length size is longer and tighter for some reason- i may need to break it in and wash a few times to get that old jeans feeling. BTW I have three 501s;now two 527s; two 514s.

I'm a medium build guy 5'11" 180lb
I normally wear a 32"x32" and that is what I purchased. Unfortunately, since these are lower in the waist they feel a bit snug on the butt but I can't let that distract me from the fact that everywhere else fits perfect! It hugs the thighs enough to show form but not enough to limit movement.
The fabric is also a good blend. they feel like they will last and don't feel tough to the touch.
After wearing these for a few days they have stretched to fit my form and don't seem to get too loose after the initial wear. I plan on buying 4 more in different washes.

for the price, this is a great pair of jeans. I had to have it hemmed because I'm a little shorter than 30', the color is exactly what I'm looking for, a dark trendy looking pair of jeans. I actually bought 2 more in black. I would recommend this

New Favorite Cut. Only disappointment is the short pocket length., as compared to 517. Does tend to "snug up' after dryer, but loosens after wear. Material weight seems thinner than 517.

As a tall man it can be hard to find jeans and pants with the proper fit. Whenever I buy Levi's as long as I pick the proper waist/inseam I'm always satisfied. There's a reason these pants have been on the market so long...they're perfect!

I bought a size 34X30 of the new Slim Boot Cut and these are the best fitting boot cut so far. The color and quality are great and fit better than the previous 527's.

I'm long and lean (6'2" 160 lbs.) so it's really hard for me to find jeans that fit, but these are pretty great. If anything, they're a little too loose in the waist, but it's only really an issue if I carry a heavy knife on my belt. The wash is good if you don't want some machine breaking them in for you -- they're stiff out of the box. The boot cut is perfect over motorcycle boots but also doesn't look too wide over a finer boot.

I'm a Levi's fan since 1993. They stopped making my number so I switched to 527. My sister got me 2 pairs from the U.S. One fits perfect, the other is extremely tight in the crotch! I was shocked that both are 34/34 but one is smaller, therefore one pair is useless. One problem is that the jeans try to slide down my waist no matter how tight the belt is.

Something is definitely off with the fit of these jeans. While they look great, the rise on these jeans is absurdly low. They always feel like they are falling off no matter how tight your belt is.While they look great and the color, material is attractive, I cannot give this product a good rating, nor can I recommend their purchase.

I got a pair of these at a store today and liked them enough to order more online. I'm really glad to see the 527 cut available in good 'ol plain dark denim. I am not a fan of all the fake faded streaks & wrinkles and whiskers, or whatever they call it when they try to make new jeans look like old jeans. It seems like that's all that's available when I need new jeans, and I'm forced to sift through the various versions of "worn" to find the least worn they offer. Lame! Let me wear them out myself thank you. I'd like to see most Levi styles available in plain dark denim. You know, what all jeans used to look like. When my trusty old jean jacket wore out, I had to wait a good 5 or 6 years before they started showing up in plain dark denim again. I bought two!
The weight also feels halfway decent. I don't dig it when jeans weigh in the same as a tea cozy. They might be light & comfy, but they wear out way too fast. These seem to be a good balance between comfort and a weight that just might last a little while. They still don't feel like my older jeans, but better than the last set I bought.
I used to get way more mileage out of my Levi's. These days (maybe the last 5-7 years) not so much. I'm hoping these do a little better.
